Three Questions About the Social Life of Values

چکیده
This afterword to the Qualifying Sociality through Values special issue reflects on challenge, aptly considered by each contributor, revamp and rejuvenate sociality concept in light of ethical turn. It poses three questions. Firstly, just how important are values for sociality? That is, what extent is social action really conceived executed values? Secondly, does itself figure as a value, should we accommodate that not obviously prosocial such separation withdrawal? Thirdly, relationship between competing – when (if at all) do genuinely conflict rather than complement or reinforce one other, people then choose them? These questions crucial, I suggest, if advance our understanding embark shared project crafting good meaningful lives.
